SEC.156[3] , 200 AND 202 - POWER OF MAGISTRATE UNDER SEC.156[3] AND 200, 202 - CHAPTER XII CONTAINS PROVISIONS RELATING TO INFORMATION TO THE POLICE AND THEIR POWERS TO INVESTIGATE WHEREAS CHAPTER XV, WHICH CONTAINS SEC.202 DEALS WITH THE PROVISIONS OF RELATING TO THE STEPS WHICH A MAGISTRATE HAS TO ADOPT AFTER TAKING COGNIZANCE OF ANY COMPLAINT. IF HE DECIDES TO REFER THE CASE TO THE POLICE UNDER SEC. 156 [3], THERE IS NO NEED TO HIM TO EXAMINE THE COMPLAINANT AND ANY BODY ON HIS BEHALF AS WITNESS.
